References: I was perusing the Really Simple Beer Syndication this morning, when this article caught my eye. It seems that Evan Rail the author of Good Beer Guide Prague and the Czech Republic and writer of the Beer Culture column at the Prague Daily Monitor is having a beer themed giveaway in the form of a beer haiku contest. Send him your beer themed 17 syllables by March 31, 2008 for a chance to win some fabulous Czech Republic brewery related prizes. Good luck!

I’m going to win a blog design from Digitally Essential!

Digitally Essential – Turning code into beauty

If you haven’t already heard, Digitally Essential is giving away blog designs to the 4 blogs that create and submit the best haiku by July 22, 2005. Since haiku is the theme of this blog, I really couldn’t ignore the call. Besides, it’s a fun idea.

Here is my entry:

How sad my blog looks
it cries out for fulfillment
like an empty mug

Good luck to all participants!
