References: A journey of a thousand haiku begins with a single beer.
This is the thousandth post here at Beer Haiku Daily. I’ve been doing this for a few less than 1000 days but I have a bit more than a thousand haiku.
I appreciate everyone that has joined me on my journey. Special thanks to the many writers that have submitted haiku.
I plan on being here for at least as long as Cal Ripken’s streak, so if you haven’t submitted anything yet, you still have time.
Pour yourself another beer, because it is time to start the next 1000 haiku.
Thing of the Day: Do Unto Others: 1000 Hilarious Ways to Screw with People’s Heads
Snow falling lightly
The sun is bidding farewell
Skis off…beer opened
Watching the skiers
From my balcony above
Celebrating life!
“Join me for a beer”
I yell to the passer-bys
Too tired to hear me
I sit once again
Reminiscing ’bout the slopes
And toast the mountains!
Written by Tammie Wright.
