Should I really be
Rocking the boss’s boat so
Close to beer thirty?

Folks sitting around
On a boat drinking cask ale.
Nice start to the week.

References: Tonight is the cask tapping ceremony on the USS Constellation to kick off the first annual Baltimore Beer Week. Unfortunately the tapping event is not open to the public, but following that ceremony is the Brewers Association of Maryland Kickoff Party at the Pratt Street Ale House. This is a public event that goes from 8:00pm-10:00pm and costs $10 to attend.
This haiku was inspired by a tweet from the Baltimore Beer Guy. Tom Cizauskas had a more complete response with more information about the ceremony.
Several beer cans
Mingle in the cool water
On the boat’s bottom

I don’t need a pole
Or a boat to go fishing.
Just a case of beer.
