At the Brewer’s Art
They gathered to remember,
Share beer and stories.
My wife, brother and I attended the National Toast to Michael Jackson last night at the The Brewer’s Art. Other attendees included Volker Stewart the owner of the Brewers Art, Rob Kasper from the Baltimore Sun, Casey Hard the beer manager at Max’s Taphouse, Dominic Cantalupo President of the Chesapeake Chapter of the Society for the Preservation of Beers from the Wood (SPBW) and many of Baltimore’s most dedicated beer enthusiasts. Here are some pictures.
Joe Gold, a local beer guru and friend of Michael Jackson provided this Salmanazar bottle of St. Feuillien Triple to be used for the toast. A Salmanazar bottle holds 9 liters.
Glasses are filled with St. Feuillien in preparation for the toast.
More glasses are filled by Joe.
The Brewer’s Art is a great place for a toast
Volker Stewart and Joe Gold lead the toast.
A nice little memorial to Michael Jackson, the Beer Hunter.
