Morning Mead

Gongs chime in my ear.
The pounding, pulsing, painful
morning after mead.

References: Mead is fermented honey. Beer is when you convert the starches of grain to sugars and ferment that.

Brunch is Fun

Around 10 A.M.
As others sip mimosas
I’m on my fourth beer

References: A Mimosa is made by mixing 3 parts chilled champagne (or sparkling wine) with 1 part chilled orange juice. It’s best served in a flute glass. (The mixture can be adjusted to a 50/50 blend if desired).
