And Give Thanks

Stopping for a beer
Amid mad preparation
I have to marvel

References: It’s Thanksgiving day in the US and that means enjoying family and food… and all the liquid refreshment that allows that to happen. I know I have a lot to be thankful for when I am staring at a 20 pound turkey completely wrapped in bacon and ready to go into the oven. I will try to take an “after” picture when it is finished cooking, but in my house something like this doesn’t usually sit around long enough to do that.

Speaking of bacon and beer. Clipper City is throwing their Beer and Bacon Festival in a couple of weeks. If you are in the Baltimore area, you should see if there are any tickets left.
