Morning Mead

Gongs chime in my ear.
The pounding, pulsing, painful
morning after mead.

Written by Medsen Fey.

References: Mead is fermented honey. Beer is when you convert the starches of grain to sugars and ferment that.

Thing of the day: The Compleat Meadmaker : Home Production of Honey Wine From Your First Batch to Award-winning Fruit and Herb Variations

For those BHD purists that think it would be cheating to publish a mead haiku I offer you this one inspired by the raucous fermentation of my Belgian Dark Strong going on right now:

That’s Entertainment

The yeast do their jobs
In a violent frenzy
Watching the wort churn
