Thanks for pointing that out Dave! I meant to highlight your haiku in the post, but just forgot. Of course this way you get to add the detail.

I refer you to Beer Haiku Daily's <a href="http://www.beerhaikudaily.com/2008/11/01/favorite-beer/" rel="nofollow">haiku of the day for 11/1/2008</a>:
My favorite beer?
Is it the one I just drank?
No, it’s the next one.

Like Captain Hops says, my favorite beer varies from day to day. During the hot summer weather, my favorites are Pyramid Apricot Ale, Buffalo Bill's Orange Blossom Cream Ale, and Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. The rest of the year, I go for hoppy beers. My favorites (alphabetized by brewer) are:
Bell's Two Hearted Ale
Boulder's Mojo IPA
Dogfish Head's 90 Minute Imperial IPA
Dogfish Head's India Brown Ale
Fort Collins' Rocky Mountain IPA
Rogue's Santa's Private Reserve Ale
Stone's IPA
Stone's Ruination IPA
Surly's Furious

Of these, the one I drink most (due to price and availability where I live) is Fort Collins' Rocky Mountain IPA. So I guess that makes it my "go to" beer.

I'm also a big fan of the beer at Boscos brewpub in Nashville. If you're in the area, check it out. Boscos also has locations in Memphis and Little Rock.
