Out in the open
young adults appreciate
and learn to respect

References: It’s pretty obvious as demonstrated by every other civilized country in the world that people have a greater respect and appreciation for alcohol and are less likely to abuse it when they learn to enjoy it in a safe, responsible, and nurturing environment with their families. There is a movement afoot to begin debate on returning personal responsibility and sensible drinking laws to the national landscape. Organizations have formed to shed some refreshing light on the misleading, misused, and outright wrong statistics bandied about to support the neoprohibitionist movement. Educate yourself and choose responsibility.

common sense prevails
responsibility wins
beer remains a choice
Written by Captain Hops.
References: I recently wrote about a referendum in Athens, Alabama to decide whether alcohol sales should remain legal. Well, the results are in and common sense and freedom prevailed. The lopsided results (68% against prohibition to 32% for it) show that it is a small minority of vocal people that want to take away the rights and freedoms of the majority. The great thing about choice is that every individual gets to decide for themselves whether they do or do not want to enjoy an alcoholic beverage in moderation. The decision is not forced on them by a few condescending and paternalistic individuals with dubious claims to moral superiority.
